So 25 songs seems like a nice solid number. This list kind of reminds me of how many of my favorite bands released albums this year but unfortunately, not as solid as I would have liked. Anyway, there have been a few things rattling around in my brain I may post on this fair blog at some point. If I ever can get my lazy ass on here to write. Stay tuned!

Conspiracy Reborn.....

Almost six months, let's see if anyone at all still comes here. I am looking at providing interesting quotes I have read lately:

"You Tube is simply becoming another idiot box, and one that is no longer ours."
Binoy Kampmark, on Democrats and CNN co-opting for debates

"There is no better test of a man's integrity then how he behaves when he is wrong."
Not sure who this is, think it is bible related though

Yep, We Are All Gay......

You say you listen to Wilco, maybe rock out some Eagles of Death Metal, The Strokes or Red Hot Chili Peppers, darken your day with Interpol. Guess what, you are gay...so step on out of the closet!

I came across a quite humorous story on the NME site. Apparently, this 'reformed' homosexual man has found god and has set up a web site to let us sinners no what will tempt us to the dark side. Love Gods Way lists both 'safe' bands and 'gay' bands for us all to listen to. Somehow the gay list is 3 times as long, so these christian folk must have faced a lot of temptation.

Now somehow Metallica, Eminem and Jay-Z ended up on the list which is odd because I can't think of any better womanizing artists. They have even managed to include Sufjan Stevens whose songs mostly convey overtly Christian themes.

Anyway, religion can be very humorous. The C.H.O.P.S logo cracked me up on this site. I am now going to have to try to get some Christian artists added to this guys list.

A Smith Was Born.....

On January 15 my bestest friends Matt and Leah welcomed their first child into the world! Lincoln October Smith, was born around 7 lb 2 oz and 21 inches if I remember correctly. Right out of the gate he has already distanced himself from his parents and taken on 'Andy' type traits; born 10 days late and is sleeping a lot. As you can see, he is already displaying a fine sense of style (that's right, those are mini chucks on his feet). In addition to the mysterio shirt, he has got both a Beatles and Wilco onesy in the bullpen for future cool points. He will surely be the coolest kid rockin' the Carolinas for years to come!

Also, Matt is 6'8" so the picture to the left I find quite humorous...seeing any living thing that small in his hands.
